Shootout Part 3 To Roll In 2023; Sanjay Gupta To Bring A Story Of An Young Gangster

publive-imageSanjay Gupta, who directed Shootout at Wadala (2013), a successful franchise sequel to Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007), is preparing for another chapter in the Shootout franchise. The filmmaker will start filming Shootout Part 3 in 2023, and this time it will be the story of a young gangster.

"Like the first two parts, this is also based on a real incident and characters from the Bombay underworld. Here, the protagonist is much younger. Beginning at 18, he was active for only six years. But even in such a short span, he terrorised ," Sanjay Gupta told Mid-day.

Who will play the main lead in Gupta's gangster drama, as we know he never repeats his heroes? Gupta added, "Right now, we are talking to talent agencies to work out the casting and check the availability of actors. This film will be mounted on a bigger scale."

Kill is ruling at the box office. The film has kept the strong hold going on the weekdays, despite competition from Kalki 2898 AD and rain affecting business in the Mumbai and Maharashtra regions.

Kill clocked in 1.24 crore nett on Wednesday, taking its total over the 10 crore nett mark. The audiences are loving the film and hailing it as the best action film in Indian cinema. The most highlighted part is the action sins between Lakshya and Raghav Juyal that people want to watch in repeat mode.KillKill has found appreciation from audiences, and the numbers are proving it. The film is set for a good number in the first week, and looking at the superb word of mouth, it is sure to see a fantastic hold in the second week as well.
