Shobha Kapoor Compares Sonakshi Sinha To Vyjayanthimala

Actress Sonakshi Sinha can now add another name to her list of admirers- that of Shobha Kapoor, who is Jeetendra's wife and Ekta Kapoor's mum.

Buzz has it that Shobha is immensely impressed with Sonakshi after watching her in the trailers of Lootera and also compared her to yesteryear actress Vyjayanthimala. A source said, “Shobhaji loved the promo so much and was so moved by Sonakshi's performance that she wanted to call her up in the middle of the night to bestow praises on her. Ekta had to stop her from calling as it was pretty late in the night. However, the next morning, she made the call and told Sona that she reminded her of a young Vyjayanthimala."

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane of Udaan fame, Lootera is said to be based on a short story named The Last Leaf by O. Henry and the film will have Ranveer Singh starring opposite Sinha.
