Sherlyn Chopra's Kamasutra 3D Contends For Oscar Nominations

Sherlyn Chopra's much-talked about film Kamasutra 3D is in contention for the Best Feature Film, Original Score and Original Songs at the 86th Academy Awards.

The multi-lingual, film which has been directed by Rupesh Paul has been selected to contend for the above mentioned categories. The list was announced on the official website of Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences on Monday.

The erotica will be competing with the likes of The Great Gatsby, Captain Phillips, The Conjuring, Diana, The Fifth Estate, The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Jobs, Gravity and The Wolf Of Wall Street.

Kamasutra 3D is based on Vatsyayana's ancient Hindu text of the same name.
