'Sher Shivraj' Opening Weekend Box Office Collection; Regosters 500+ Housefull Shows In Maharashtra

The Marathi movie Sher Shivraj, the fourth film in Digpal Lanjekar's series on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, was released in approximately 200 screens last Friday. The film collected 1.05 crore nett on the first day and saw an increase in the number of shows on day 2. With more than 500 housefull shows, the first weekend total has been good so far, and the film is expected to continue its good run.

The Chinmay Mandlekar-starrer Sher Shivraj showed a 40% jump in the collections on Saturday and then again saw a jump of around 10% on its third day on Sunday. The film minted 1.45 crore nett on day 2 and 1.70 crore nett on day 3. The opening weekend total is at 4.20 crore nett, which is fairly good, but less than the previous film in the franchise, Pawankhind, which did more than 6 crore nett in the opening weekend.
