Ikk Kudi X Single Salma Box Office Update:
It seems like a dull weekend is ahead for Bollywood and Punjabi cinema, as both Single Salma and Ikk Kudi have opened to disappointing numbers at the box office. Huma Qureshi’s latest comedy-drama Single Salma, co-starring Sunny Singh and Shreyas Talpade, has turned out to be a non-starter.
The film received very limited screens across India, and the opening day collections reflect its poor response. According to early estimates, the film managed to earn only around ₹6–7 lakh on Day 1, making it one of the weakest openings of the year. With minimal buzz and low audience turnout, the film’s fate looks sealed unless there’s a major jump over the weekend. It's a huge box office DISASTER!

Meanwhile, Shehnaaz Gill’s Punjabi film Ikk Kudi has also failed to make a mark at the box office. Despite her growing popularity and social media following, the film could collect only about ₹10 lakh on its opening day. The response from both urban and rural centres has been below expectations, and word of mouth hasn’t been encouraging either.

Trade experts believe both films are likely to struggle through the weekend due to a lack of excitement and tough competition from holdover releases. While Ikk Kudi may show slight growth in Punjab, Single Salma appears headed for a quick exit from theatres. Overall, it’s shaping up to be a slow and unremarkable weekend for exhibitors and audiences alike.
