Sharman Joshi Returns With Golmaal 5:
After two decades away from Rohit Shetty’s comedy franchise, actor Sharman Joshi is all set to rejoin the cast of Golmaal 5. Joshi, who was part of the original Golmaal Fun Unlimited in 2006, is finally returning to the series that made him a fan favourite.
The news was confirmed in a Mid-Day interview where Sharman said he looks forward to working on the project and is likely to start soon. He spoke with warmth about returning to the team, saying it’s been a long wait. “It’s been a very long time since I was part of Golmaal. I missed Rohit Shetty’s energy on sets and the fun atmosphere,” he told the news portal.

Joshi’s absence from the subsequent sequels has been much talked about over the years. After the first Golmaal, he didn’t appear in the next three films. Earlier reports suggested fee disagreements were behind his exit, but Joshi has explained in interviews that the situation was due to miscommunication between his team and the makers, and he learned about it later.

Golmaal 5 promises to bring the beloved comic universe back to theatres, with many original cast members returning alongside Joshi, including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Shreyas Talpade. The movie is expected to go on floors soon, with fans eagerly waiting to see the classic gang reunite on screen.
