Shahid Kapoor's Udta Punjab Gets Leaked Online

Just when the makers of Udta Punjab thought that their woes are over, they have got some fresh trouble to deal with.

If reports are to be believed, then the Abhishek Chaubey-directed film has got leaked online. While some reports suggest that a 40-minute clip, which contains the film's most crucial scenes, has been leaked, there are also rumours that the entire film is now available online i.e. two days before its release.

The film found itself amidst controversy, when the Censor Board suggested 89 cuts in the Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh starrer. The makers moved the High Court against the CBFC's decision and on Monday, the HC gave its decision in favour of the movie and passed it with only one cut.

A Punjab-based NGO, Human Rights Awareness Association has now moved the Supreme Court to stay the film's release this Friday, as according to them it projects Punjab 'in a bad light'.
