Shahid Kapoor's 'Haider' Subject To 41 Censor Cuts!

Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider already seems the kind of film which will raise many eye brows. This film is the last film to be censored by suspended CEO Rakesh Kumar who is under the scanner for a bribery case. The film has been passed with a U/A certification but only after 41 cuts.

We hear some of the scenes removed include visuals of a burning body, corpses piled into a truck, Haider walking among naked corpses, a wire being inserted into a naked man, a close up shot of an appendix surgery and a stone-pelting incident.

According to the rule book, the examining committee cannot see the film after the cuts are introduced. The revising committee steps in. This is wear Rakesh Kumar was flouting rules. Director Vishal Bhardwaj has put and heart and soul into his film, and after all these edits his pet project finally has the green light.
