After Aamir Khan, now it's Shahid Kapoor who'll become shayar for Kunal Kohli. While Aamir won hearts with his shayari in 2006 superhit film Fanaa, Shahid will do the same for his 'thrice upon a time' film Teri Meri Kahaani.

However, Shahid has confessed that he was nervous to recite the couplets. At the unveiling of the first look of Teri Meri Kahaani Kapoor said, "I enjoyed Aamir's shayari in Fanna as well. I was nervous to do it as someone like Mr. Aamir Khan had done it before me. I told Kunal also, that I hope I don't make a fool of myself as it was done really well in your earlier film. But he was very kind and said we'll find a way of doing it well."

The film is set in three eras – 1910, 1960 and 2012 and Shahid will be seen essaying the role of Javed Quadri of Lahore in the pre-independence era.

"I got a chance to recite shayari while playing Javed and I think Javed is really cool. Of all the three characters, Javed is the worst behaved. I always say this to Kunal that the character of Javed is the worst person to be existing at a time, that is in 1910, when everyone was supposed to be very well behaved," said the 30-year-old actor.

Kapoor revealed that he's really fond of his character Javed, stating, "I loved playing this character because by using shayari he does anything he wants. I found that character very exciting and also the most difficult, because I think I am playing a Muslim character for the first time in my career. Secondly, it's a very heroic, massy kind of character. He is not afraid of anyone, does what he wants and teases any girl he wishes."
