Shahid Kapoor Is Growing His Beard For 'Rangoon'

Shahid Kapoor, who is game about experimenting with his looks for his roles, had sported a moustache for Mausam and had shaved his head for Haider and it seems that he has something new in store for his fans as far as his next Rangoon is concerned.

Buzz has it that Shahid Kapoor is growing his beard for his role as an army officer in Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon. The film, which is set against the backdrop of the Second World War, also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut and we hear that Shahid will play an officer from the INA (Indian National Army), which had been formed by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

A source said that though he had the option of going for an artificial beard, Shahid refused to do so and insisted on growing his beard for the role.
