Shahid Kapoor was left heartbroken after his last release Shaandaar failed miserably at the box-office. Kapoor, who shared screen space with Alia Bhatt in the movie, says that when a film flops, an actor goes through the same emotions as one goes through during a break-up.
At a recent event, when asked to comment on Shaandaar's dismal performance, the actor said, "Whenever a film doesn't work it makes you feel sad as you put in a lot of hard work in it. You become very angry, it hurts. You go through all the emotions that you go through during a break-up."
Shahid is presently busy with Vishal Bhardwaj's period drama Rangoon, in which he will share screen space with Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan. Shahid will play an officer from INA and he has grown a moustache for his role.
