Shah Rukh Khan’s Cousin Noor Jehan Passes Away In Pakistan

Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan, whose father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan was an Indian independence activist from Peshawar, still has extended family in Pakistan and his paternal cousin Noor Jehan passed away in Peshawar recently.

Reportedly, she was suffering from oral cancer. Noor Jehan, who resided in Mohallah Shah Wali Qataal area close to Peshawar’s Qissa Khwani Bazaar, had also served as a district and town councillor. She had also filed nomination papers for the provincial assembly PK-77 seat during the 2018 General Elections in Pak however, she withdrew at the last moment.

Shah Rukh’s father and Noor Jehan’s father were siblings and Noor Jehan had also visited SRK in Mumbai in 1997 and 2011.
