Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has mostly stayed clean shaven on the silver screen with a few exceptions (Hey Ram, Chak De India, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Don 2), will probably be seen sporting a beard in his upcoming film Raees, in which he plays a bootlegger from Gujarat.
Taking to Twitter, SRK recently wrote, ''My hottest (with the heat & humidity) accoutrement (lov the word) nowadays is my15 day beard. Itchita..itchita.'' Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees revolves around the issue of Prohibition in Gujarat and also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Raees revolves around Khan's character, a bootlegger, who supplies booze in Prohibition-era Gujarat during the 80s and the situations that arise when a cop, played by Nawazuddin, wages war on Khan's criminal enterprise. We have also just learned that the King Khan will be seen doing a Garba number in the film.
Apart from Raees, the King Khan will also star in YRF flick Fan and Rohit Shetty's Dilwale.
