Shah Rukh Khan's next project with director Siddharth Anand, King, began filming on Wednesday, May 20, 2025, in Mumbai. According to a report in Mid-Day, Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Saurabh Shukla united for an important scene on Wednesday.

The shoot commenced at 9 AM and continued for 12 hours. Father SRK was seen helping and encouraging his daughter, Suhana Khan. "Suhana was focused and could hold her own with remarkable calm, especially opposite two seasoned actors. King had been extensively prepped, and of course, every detail has been worked upon in the workshop stage," a source told the portal.

"Despite the long hours, there was ease to the proceedings, like a crew that knew they were capturing something important. There were over 500 people on set. However, this is a closed set. There is high security to prevent any leaks. These significant scenes of this schedule will be filmed here over the next few days, but the first schedule will feature multiple locations, on top of this set," the source added.

The trio shot together and maintained a happy mood throughout the day, thanks to director Siddharth Anand. King is expected to be envisioned as a large-scale action entertainer, and the action and directors have already prepared for the upcoming schedules.
