Shah Rukh Khan Suffers Muscular Injury On King Sets:

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has suffered a muscular injury while shooting for his upcoming action film King. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the actor has flown to the US for medical attention. Though the details of the injury have not been officially revealed, it has been described as a muscular issue caused by years of stunt-related strain.

"While exact details of the injury have been kept under wraps, Shah Rukh, along with his team, has travelled to the US for urgent medical attention. It’s nothing serious, but more of a muscular injury, as Shah Rukh over the years has injured multiple muscles of his body while performing stunts," a source informed the media portal.

The injury required minor surgery, after which SRK has been advised to take a complete break for about a month. As a result, the next shooting schedule of King has now been pushed to later this year.

"The next schedule of King will now begin in September/October as SRK has been advised to take time off for recovery. On completely recovering from the injury, he will hit sets again with full force," the source informed.

King is one of the most awaited films of 2025, marking a return of SRK to a darker action avatar. The film will feature his daughter Suhana Khan in a prominent role, alongside other key cast members such as Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor and others. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the project promises intense action and emotional drama, loosely inspired from Leon: The Professional (1994).
