Shah Rukh Khan Stopped By Customs Officers At Mumbai Airport; Here's Why -

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was stopped by customs officers at the Mumbai airport today. The actor was returning from Sharjah when he landed in temporary trouble at the private airport in Mumbai.

The reason behind this was customs duty and payments. SRK was stopped by customs officers and made to pay approximately Rs. 6 lakhs. The actor cooperated with the officers and waited patiently until everything was sorted out.

The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) sources told the Times media that the actor had to pay Rs. 6.83 lakhs as a penalty for carrying expensive watches worth Rs. 18 lakh. Shah Rukh Khan was travelling on a private chartered plane from Sharjah to Mumbai.
