Shah Rukh Khan Starrer 'Raees' Will Be Set Against A Backdrop Of Ahmedabad In The 1980's

After facing multiple delays, Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan starrer Raees is finally back on track. Currently a massive set is being erected at Film City in Mumbai. According to director Rahul Dholakia, the film is based in the 1980's and the crew will be constructing certain parts of Ahmedabad which is pivotal for the film.

He says that the set will be ready only by March but refused to give a fixed for the film's commencement. SRK will be playing a gangster in the movie with Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing his nemesis. Raees went through many casting changes with Farhan Akhtar dropping out of the film, but finally things seem to be falling into place for the cast and crew.
