In a landmark moment for Indian cinema and fashion, Shah Rukh Khan made his debut at the 2025 Met Gala, becoming the first male Bollywood actor to walk the prestigious red carpet. Held at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, this year’s event celebrated the theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” with a dress code inspired by “The Garden of Time.”

The Pathaan actor turned heads in a regal custom sherwani designed by Sabyasachi, blending traditional Indian elegance with contemporary flair. His ensemble, rich with embroidery and tailored sophistication, stood out amid a sea of global fashion icons. He also did that famous signature pose of his; see the picture below:

The event, co-chaired by celebrities including Lewis Hamilton, Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, and Bad Bunny, featured a strong international presence, with stars from across music, film, and fashion making appearances. From Bollywood, Kiara Advani made her debut and Diljit Dosanjh was another Indian at the event, alongwith Priyanka Chopra.
