Shah Rukh Khan Confirms Dunki Release Date At Jawan Success Press Meet —

Shah Rukh Khan is set to end the year with a bang with Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. There have been rumours about the film shifting to the next year since Shah Rukh Khan already had Pathan and Jawan in 2023. However, the rumours are not true, and King Khan silenced them in his style.

"I am not trying to show off. God has been very kind in that we have had Pathaan. God has been even kinder with Jawan," he began.

"We started on 26 January, Republic Day, it’s a good, auspicious day. Then on Janmashtami – Lord Krishna’s birthday – we released this film (Jawan). And now on Christmas, we will bring Dunki. National integration rakhta hoon," quipped Shah Rukh Khan.

The upcoming social comedy drama is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and co-written by Kanika Dhillon. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles, while Boman Irani plays an important role.

Produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Jio Studios, the film will be released in cinemas on December 22, 2023.
