It has already been reported that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been signed up to play Captain Rakesh Sharma in Salute, a film based on the life of the first Indian astronaut and we have some details about the project for our readers.
We have learned that SRK will wrap Zero by April end, after which he will be busy for the next three months prepping up for his character in Salute. A source close to the star revealed that he will be doing his own research with his team and studying the nuances to play the astronaut, which is why he’s taken a three-month break in between to devote himself to the biopic. Khan will shoot for the film from September to November, take a break for the promotions of Zero and then resume Salute early January 2019.
SRK will share screen space with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in ‘Zero’.
