While everyone’s hopes were really high from Shah Rukh khan’s last release Zero, the film turned out to be a box-office disaster. The film’s failure left the makers and the audiences shocked and we hear that SRK and director Aanand L Rai are no longer on talking terms.
Yes, Khan and Rai, who couldn’t stop singing paeans about each other during the making and the promotions of the movie, have reportedly had a fallout. A source has been quoted saying that Khan blames Rai entirely for the failure of the movie.
The source further added that just like all of us, even Khan is now wondering what was Aanand L Rai thinking. Obviously, the film’s failure has made a huge impact on Shah Rukh. The actor hasn’t signed any new films yet and has also walked out of Rakesh Sharma’s biopic, Saare Jahan Se Accha. He has also put the third edition of his super hit Don franchise on hold.
Clearly, Khan wants to be extra careful with his career choices now. However, we can’t blame only Rai for the failure of the movie as SRK was not only the hero of the film but also the producer and hence had an equal say. Probably he trusted Rai entirely and while he was expecting him to give him one of his biggest hits, he got the biggest disaster of his life.
Now we hear that Farah Khan wants to rope in SRK as the protagonist in the remake of Satte Pe Satta opposite Katrina Kaif. The film will be produced by Rohit Shetty.
