Shabana Azmi And Javed Akhtar's Car Rams Into A Truck, Actress Grievously Injured

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi got grievously injured as her car met with an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway in Maharashtra’s Raigadh district this afternoon.

Reportedly, the accident occurred around 3.30 pm today near Khalapur as the car in which she was travelling rammed into a truck. A few pictures from the accident have surfaced and have spread like wildfire. The actress has got seriously injured and has been taken to Navi Mumbai’s MGM Hospital.

Her husband, veteran lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar was also in the car however, he hasn’t sustained major injuries. Another unidentified woman was also in the car with them and she has also got seriously injured. They were travelling from Mumbai to Pune.
