'Secret Superstar' Has Not One But Two 'Dangal' Connections!

Aamir Khan, who was last seen essaying the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat in Dangal, will be next seen in a cameo in Advait Chauhan's Secret Superstar, which stars Aamir's reel daughter Zaira Wasim (Dangal).

However, this is not the only Dangal connection that the film has- we have heard that for 'Secret Superstar', Aamir will be choreographed by none other than Sanya Malhotra, who had played Babita Phogat in Dangal. For those who do not know this, Sanya is a trained ballet dancer and hence was chosen for this assignment. Confirming the same, an elated Sanya said that though the steps were tough, Aamir managed to master the steps with ease.

Directed by Advait Chauhan and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, the film traces the journey of Insia, a 14-year-old girl from Vadodara, whose dream of becoming a singer changes her life. The film is slated to release on August 4 this year.
