Actor Gulzar Chahal, who debuts as the male lead with Puneet Issar's I Am Singh reportedly had an unpleasant surprise recently when the posters of the publicity campaign of the movie were being unveiled.
Chahal, who is supposedly often compared to a young Dharmendra in his hometown Patiala, was quite dismayed when he saw the posters that had only his back shot, shows a Sikh man tying his turban and at no point in the posters or in any other publicity material can anyone see Gulzar's face.
I Am Singh is Puneet Issar's second movie after directing Garv and the movie deals with the anguish faced by Sikhs staying in the US, who are subjected to hate crimes because of mistaken identities in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks.
