Sanjay Leela Bhansali To Produce TV Shows

Acclaimed director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has reportedly agreed to produce two television shows for the small screen, which shall be aired on Sony Entertainment Television and Star Plus.

Bhansali has already had a stint with the small screen as a judge on two reality shows. A source close to the director stated that the concerned channels have also agreed to hike their budgets keeping in mind the larger than life canvas and extravaganza that Sanjay likes to put into all his creative endeavors.

The show which shall be produced for Star Plus is apparently a family drama revolving around a middle-class Gujarati family. However, details about the Sony show are still under wraps. Bhansali was unavailable for comment.
