Salman Khan, Wajid Khan
Wajid Khan, who had marked his Bollywood debut as a composer with Salman Khan's 1998 release Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, passed away at a hospital in Mumbai last night. He was 42.
The singer-composer was suffering from kidney ailments and had also tested positive for coronavirus. Salman, who has worked with Sajid-Wajid in several films like Garv, Dabangg, Partner, Ek Tha Tiger, Tere Naam and Mujhse Shaadi Karoge to name a few, mourned his demise. An emotional Salman wrote, "Wajid Vil always love, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your beautiful soul rest in peace ..."
Sajid-Wajid used to consider Salman Khan as their Godfather and had also composed the music of his lockdown songs 'Pyaar Karona’ and ‘Bhai Bhai'.
