The editor of Filmfare, Jitesh Pillai received lots of brickbats as he tried to shame Hina Khan, who marked her debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2019. When Salman Khan was asked to comment on it, he took potshots at Jitesh in his own inimitable style.
Jitesh mocked Hina by posting a picture of the actress on his Instagram story and along with he wrote, “Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali Studios kya?” Jitesh received major backlash for his snide remark and he later deleted his crass post.
When Salman was asked to comment on it, he said, “That’s very responsible of that editor to make a comment like that.”
“Very thoughtful of the editor to make a comment like that on Hina. I don’t understand kya kehna chah rahe the. Cannes is Chandivali or has Chandivali gone to Cannes?” the superstar further added.
Hina, who had participated in Bigg Boss 11, which was hosted by Salman, is in Cannes to promote her short film, Lines, which is based on the Kargil War.
