Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are currently riding high on the success of Bharat, which narrates the journey of the titular character from 1960s to 2010. Recently, the lead pair was all smiles as they interact with the families who witnessed the partition of 1947. Salman and Katrina met several civilians at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai for a special screening of the film and interacted with them over Bharat. Evidently, Salman enjoys a fan base with the veterans too, as he was showered with praise for the ‘train scene’ in Bharat. The actor was seen spending time interacting with his veteran female fans. They both seemed to be having a good time along with everyone that was present for the special meet and greet, this was a kind gesture and also, a good promotional strategy. Salman Khan and Katrina even posed with the group for media.
Bharat is the official adaption of Korean film, Ode To My Father and is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film features Salman in five different avatars, as he ages from 18 years to 72 years. Bharat also stars Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi and Aasif Sheikh in pivotal roles.
After a successful weekend run at the box office, it is the second highest grosser of 2019, crossing lifetime collection of Kesari and Total Dhamaal in 6 days. However, on its seventh day, the collection remained stable, increasing the chances of the film becoming the highest grosser of 2019.
