Salman Khan is all set to make a powerful cameo appearance in Riteish Deshmukh’s upcoming historical epic Raja Shivaji. The Bollywood superstar will be portraying the iconic role of Jeeva Mahala, the loyal and brave warrior who was the right hand of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. According to a report by Box Office worldwide, Salman will shoot for his part on November 7, and the sequence promises to be one of the film’s biggest highlights.

The film, which stars Riteish Deshmukh in the titular role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is also directed and produced by him. Raja Shivaji is being mounted on a grand scale, with elaborate sets and intense battle sequences designed to bring the Maratha warrior king’s legacy to life.

As per the report, veteran actor Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to play the fearsome role of Afzal Khan, setting up a powerful clash between the Maratha army and the Adilshahi forces. The film will recreate the iconic battle between Shivaji Maharaj and Afzal Khan at Pratapgad, a defining moment in Indian history.
