Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has upgraded his security once again. The Sikandar actor recently purchased a brand-new bulletproof Mercedes worth ₹3.40 crore, keeping in mind the growing threats to his life. The new vehicle adds another layer of protection to his daily commute and public appearances.

Over the past couple of years, Salman Khan has received several death threats, especially from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s group. Due to these ongoing concerns, the Mumbai Police had already given him Y+ category security. This means he travels with a team of armed security personnel at all times.

In 2023, a threatening email was sent to Salman’s team warning him to stay away from certain places. Earlier this year, two men even opened fire outside his Bandra residence, adding to the serious concerns around his safety. These incidents have forced the actor to take stronger measures, including using an armored vehicle.
