Salman Khan Fires back at AR Murugadoss:
Salman Khan has pushed back strongly against director AR Murugadoss’ remarks about Sikandar — especially claims of unprofessionalism on Salman’s part. Salman gave this response during a recent episode of Bigg Boss 19. Salman said he does not regret doing any film recently, including Sikandar. He admitted that there were issues on set — for example, he says that sometimes he reached the set at around 9 pm, which might have caused confusion. But he questioned Murugadoss’ version of events. Watch the viral clip below:

Salman also noted that in Murugadoss’ own recent film Madharaasi, the actor (Nani) arrived on set as early as 6 am, suggesting that the punctuality excuse isn’t consistent. Taking a jibe at box office claims, Salman laughed and said Madharaasi is “bahot badi film” and “utni hi badi… (laughs), Sikandar se badi blockbuster. Galat tarike se.” In other words, he’s mocking the idea that Madharaasi succeeded just because of better discipline or timing.
In another part of the show, Salman asked pointedly, “Kaam mila kya bhai?” — loosely, “Did you get work, brother?” — in response to Murugadoss’ claims.
Mana Che Shlok Review: Predictable But A Cute Romantic Comedy About the Marriage System
Sikandar was released on Eid, 2025, directed by A. R. Murugadoss, starring Salman along with Rashmika Mandanna and others. The film had high expectations but did not perform as strongly as hoped. Critics and audiences gave mixed to negative reviews.
Thus, the clash is over whether Sikandar failed because Salman allegedly showed up late or due to other issues. Salman clearly rejects that delays or punctuality are the main reason, and indicates he believes the responsibility is shared or lies elsewhere.
