Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is one of the most successful stars of Bollywood, whose film dialogues and mannerisms are mimicked by all his fans across the country, but not many know that the Dabangg dude has also starred in some unmemorable films…

Kurbaan:

Despite being a household name after playing Prem in Sooraj Barjatya‘s Maine Pyaar Kiya, Salman Khan starred opposite Ayesha Jhulka in a film named Kurbaan, which sank without a trace. Apart from Salman and Jhulka, the film also starred Sunil Dutt and Kabir Bedi.

Ek Ladka Ek Ladki:

Directed by Vijay Sadanah, Ek Ladka Ek Ladki starred Salman Khan and Neelam Kothari and the film was loosely based on Hollywood film Overboard starring Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn.

Nischaiy:

Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor were paired opposite each other in the 1992 film Nishchaiy, which had also starred Vinod Khanna, Shammi Kapoor, Moushumi Chatterjee and others.

Jaagruti:

A revenge drama, which explored Salman’s potential as an action hero, Jaagruti had Salman Khan returning back from the dead to avenge his brother’s murder. This film too had Karisma Kapoor opposite Salman Khan.

Chandramukhi:

Salman Khan and Sridevi teamed up for the very first time in Chandramukhi, which was a story written by Salman himself. The film also starred Pran, Gulshan Grover and others.

Chaand Ka Tukdaa:

After the fantasy film Chandra Mukhi, Salman and Sridevi teamed up once again for Chaand Ka Tukdaa, in which he played the heir to a business empire, who falls for the wrong girl.

Majhdhaar:

Long before Salman starred opposite Manisha Koirala in Khamoshi, the two actors came together for Majhdhaar, which was a love story also starring Rahul Roy (of Aashiqui fame).

Veergati:

Salman Khan impressed everyone with his physique as the cynical Ajay in Veergati, which saw him playing a one-man army, who single-handedly brings down a prostitution racket and kills those responsible for the vile business. The film had also starred Atul Agnihotri and Divya Dutta.

Dil Tera Aashiq:

Directed by Lawrence D’Souza, Dil Tera Aashiq starred Salman Khan opposite Madhuri Dixit. The film also starred Anupam Kher, Kader Khan, Asrani and Shakti Kapoor, amongst others.
