Salman Khan Did Not Have A Driving License At The Time Of Hit-And-Run Incident?

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is not a stranger to controversies, has found himself in deeper trouble after a witness deposed in court yesterday that Khan did not have a license at the time when the hit-and-run incident occurred.

The witness, an official with the RTO (Regional Transport Office) deposed in court on Monday and said that a driving license to Salman Khan was issued in 2004, two years after the incident took place in 2002. The witness is yet to be cross-examined by the defense lawyer.

Khan's car had rammed into a roadside shop in suburban Bandra, killing one person and injuring four people, who were sleeping on the pavement, on the night of 28 September, 2002. Salman has been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder in the matter.
