"Salaar Is Not A Remake Of Ugramm," — Prashanth Neel 

Salaar vs Dunki fight is taking over social media, as fans and influencers are going wild with theories. While the Salaar gang is claiming that Dunki is a remake of Dulquer Salmaan's "CIA," the Dunki group believes that Salaar is a remake of "Ugramm." Is there any truth in it?Team Dunki is yet to drop their first asset from the film, which will give us an idea of what the film is going to be. All we know by now is that the film is based on a donkey fight used for illegal immigration. CIA is a more of a love story, so the reports can be called baseless. But we don't have any official word on it.

On the other hand, Salaar may have a dark layout like Ugramm, but that doesn't mean it's a remake. In this case, we have an official word from director Prashanth Neel. During the promotion of KGF Chapter 2 last year, he was asked if Salaar was inspired by or adopted from his own work, Ugramm. Neel immediately clarified that Salaar is not a remake or adaptation of Ugramm.Speaking to the media, Neel said, "All of the films that I make will have some shade of Ugramm. That’s my style! But Salaar is a fresh story; it’s not a remake or adaptation of Ugramm."
