Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgn, who have worked together in films like Kachche Dhaage and Omkara, have joined forces again for upcoming historical drama ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, which happens to be Ajay’s 100th movie.
At the trailer launch of the movie, Saif said, “I had first worked with Ajay In Kachche Dhaage, which was a very good film. I know how much Ajay loves movies and you can see it in this film. It’s an incredible achievement, technically and you need passion and you need to love your work (to make this kind of cinema).”
“I am very happy to be a part of Ajay’s 100th film. Thank you for having me, I had a really good time. What I also like about Ajay is the kind of star that he is, the system that he supports. The light men, the spotboys and the technicians, whom I had met 20-30 years ago, they are still working with Ajay. He has supported such a massive part of this industry. So I have a great deal of respect for you sir,” he further added.
An overwhelmed Ajay said, “When we thought of casting for Udaybhan, no other name came to our minds other than Saif and I am so happy that he is a part of it.”
Directed by Om Raut, Tanhaji will release on January 10.
