Sachin Shroff Replaces Shailesh Lodha In 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'

TV actor Shailesh Lodha, who played the part of Taarak Mehta in the popular Hindi sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been replaced by Sachin Shroff. The creator of the show, Mr. Asit Modi, confirmed the news to a media channel.

Asit Modi told Aaj Tak News, "Yes, we have cast Sachin Shroff in our show. Sachin is coming in place of Shailesh Lodha. Sachin has even started shooting for the same. We tried a lot to find a middle ground with Shailesh, but he left the show. We cannot betray our viewers. I had to bring someone on the show."

"I pray to God that Sachin will get the same love from the audience. See, it is a journey of 15 years, so the ups and downs are obvious and will keep coming. After all, the audience is my priority. I don't want to disappoint them. We have a team of good writers and direction, so hopefully people will accept Sachin in the role of Taarak Mehta."
