I Can't Do 18-Year-old Type Romantic Roles Now, Says Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan began his career with a romantic hit, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988), and since then has worked in many romantic movies. The idea of a romantic hero changes with time, and Aamir Khan agrees with it.

Recently, Aamir Khan was talking about doing romantic roles, and he clearly said that he can only do age-appropriate roles. The actor was speaking to News18 India during promotions for his upcoming production, Laapataa Ladies.

When asked about doing romantic movies, Aamir Khan replied, "Romance is a little uncommon in this age but if they are age appropriate, why not? I would like to do all kinds of genres. But I can't become an 18-year-old, I will not do that".

Aamir Khan also confirmed his next acting venture, Sitaare Zameen Par, which kicked off a couple of days ago in Mumbai. While Laapataa Ladies is coming on 1st March, Sitaare Zameen Par will hit theatres on Christmas 2024.
