Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his apartment in Mumbai, on June 14 and fans of the actor are distraught with his untimely demise. Recently, one of his fans named a star after the space enthusiaist and now, a road in his hometown Purnea in Bihar has been named after him.
Mayor Savita Devi said that Sushant was a great artist and she named the road, which goes from Madhubani to Mata Chowk, after him to pay a tribute to the talented actor. A popular car company's roundabout has also been renamed and is now called Sushant Singh Rajput Chowk.
Reportedly, the Mayor has also written to PM Narendra Modi demanding a CBI enquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Actor Shekhar Suman had also visited Sushant's house a few days ago and he had also met with Bihar’s Chief Minister to demand a CBI enquiry. Sushant's fans have also been demanding the same.
The Mumbai Police is presently investigating the case and the cops have questioned around 30 people in the case.
