No more ACP Pradyuman in CID:

Shivaji Satam has officially quit the popular TV show CID. It all began in 1998 when Satam first appeared as ACP Pradyuman in CID, which aired on the Sony Entertainment Channel. For years, he has played the role and garnered a cult following. Sadly, there will be no ACP from now on. No more "Daya, kuchh to gadbad hai," "Daya, tod do darwaza," "Daya, pata lagao," "Daya, samjhe iska matlab," and many more such dialogues.

In the previous episode of CID, the character was shown to be dead in a bomb blast, and while everyone was curious about the official news, the Sony team made it official on their social media handle. The Sony TV page posted a picture on Instagram, stating, "RIP ACP. End of an Era. ACP Pradyuman (1998-2025)." The caption reads, "In loving memory of ACP Pradyuman. A loss that will never be forgotten."

Fans are expressing their anger in the comments, while some are furious at this kind of promotion, as if he died in real life. Some users believe that they have taken the soul from the body and that there is no interest left in watching C.I.D., while others suggested that they should stop the serial now. The reports suggest that Shivaji Satam wanted a break from acting and that's why I know had to take this decision of biding good-bye to his character.
