Hansal Mehta‘s Aligarh was a film based on real events about a professor, who was terminated from service after being caught having sex with a rickshaw puller and it now seems that the rickshaw puller, who had been involved with the real Professor Siras, has filed a case against Hansal Mehta.
Confirming the news, Mehta said that the rickshaw puller, who was caught with Siras in a compromising position when some people barged into the latter’s house and discovered the two having sex, has filed a case against him. The acclaimed filmmaker added that the rickshaw puller’s grouse is that he is not a homosexual and that the professor had forced him to have sex with him.
Aligarh had starred Manoj Bajpayee and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles.
