'Ranveer And I Watch Matches Together' Reveals Deepika Padukone While Promoting Chhapaak

Deepika Padukone who has recently impressed the audience with the trailer of Chhapaak, revealed her favourite cricketer in a TV show, while promoting the film. She also said that she watches cricket with husband Ranveer Singh often together. Deepika even mentioned, that her husband is also a huge football fan and sometimes they even watch the important games together.

Talking about cricket, when Deepika was asked who is her favourite cricketer? She said,

"My all-time favourite cricketer is Rahul Dravid; a lot of my idols are not what they have done in the sport and the game, but how they have conducted themselves outside, for me he is somebody I have admired and looked up to, and he is from Bangalore.”

Deepika further added, "Ranveer and I watch matches together, he is a very big football fan which everyone knows but he is also a big cricket fan. We don’t watch every single match, but yes, when there are important games, we either make it a point to sit with each other or with family and friends and make it an event, like the whole nation does.”

Deepika and Ranveer will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83. Deepika in the film will be seen essaying the role of Ranveer Singh’s on-screen wife, Kapil Dev's wife, Romi Dev in the film.

Meanwhile Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's  Chhapaak. Chhapaak will narrate the story of Laxmi Agarwal, who suffered an acid attack at a young age. The film is slated to release on January 10, 2020.
