Ranveer Singh Was Inspired By Anil Kapoor To Become An Actor

A few people know this fact that Ranveer Singh is related to Anil Kapoor's wife Sunita. And it was in fact Anil Kapoor, who inspired Ranveer to take up acting.

The Gunday actor says that he grew up watching Anil Kapoor's films and since he had no filmy background it was difficult for him to convince his family to take up acting as a serious profession. Ranveer also adds that since he was a movie buff in his childhood days, he always knew that he acting would come to him very naturally. Ranveer is also elated at the fact that he is working with his childhood idol in his next film Dil Dhadakne Do.

Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do is based on a dysfunctional Punjabi film and is shot in Barcelona. Also starring in the film are Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Shefali Shah and Rahul Bose. It will release next year in June.
