Ranveer Singh Replaces Aamir Khan In Anurag Kashyap's Next

Just one film old and Ranveer Singh has already become one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood.

So much so, that now Yash Raj's blue eyed boy has bagged a role originally meant for Mr.Perfectionist, Aamir Khan himself. The Band Baaja Baaraat actor has, reportedly, been signed for filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's next project, Black Velvet.

Sources reveal that the film is based on the Mumbai underworld of '70s. After keeping his project on hold for a long time, Kashyap finally decided to go ahead the film sans Aamir. That apart, the mediavine is also abuzz about Ranveer purportedly signing up for his first non-YRF project with Vikramaditya Motwane, another director from the Kashyap camp, who will soon be starting on his second film, after Udaan.

Well, in any case, it seems that for now, Aamir’s loss is Ranveer’s gain!
