The last Bollywood release of the year, Cirkus, hits the cinema halls tomorrow, on December 23, 2022. The expectations from Rohit Shetty's film are high, but it seems that the film isn't really hitting that level. The advance booking for the Ranveer Singh starrer is really dull so far.
The advance sales of Cirkus are underwhelming and likely to end within the 4 crore to 5 crore range. This is lower than the second weekend booking of James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water, which has almost double the bookings of Cirkus.
The Rohit Shetty entertainer is heavily dependent on spot bookings and mass belts. The poor trailer and songs have made it difficult for the film, but with the Christmas and New Year holidays falling ahead, the film can sustain better in the coming days. Well, that's only if the word of mouth is positive.
