Ranveer Singh Gets FA9LA Type Song In Dhurandhar 2:

Ranveer Singh is set to headline a special celebration song in the upcoming sequel Dhurandhar 2, but fans expecting a full-fledged dance performance from the actor might be surprised. According to a report by Mid-Day, the song will celebrate a major moment in the storyline rather than showcase Singh dancing like a typical Bollywood number.

The report reveals that the song was filmed in Ladakh on the same set that was used for the song FA9LA, which featured Akshaye Khanna in the first film. In fact, the sequence for Dhurandhar 2 was shot just a day before Khanna’s number. Director Aditya Dhar decided to film both songs back-to-back since the elaborate set was already constructed. Given Ladakh’s harsh weather and challenging filming conditions, the team felt it was practical to complete both sequences during the same schedule rather than return later.

In the sequel’s storyline, Akshaye Khanna’s character Rehman Dakait dies, leading to a shift in power. After his death, the title of Sher-e-Baloch is passed on to Ranveer Singh’s character, Hamza. The celebration song marks this important moment, symbolising Hamza’s rise and recognition.

However, the tone of the sequence will be quite different from Khanna’s flamboyant number. Sources say Rehman Dakait was portrayed as a ruthless yet stylish character who could indulge in a dramatic celebration. Hamza, on the other hand, is depicted as serious, quiet, and aggressive, driven by a personal mission. Because of this, the makers chose not to have Ranveer Singh dancing in the number.

Instead, the background dancers perform while Hamza remains composed and observant. The song has been choreographed by Vijay Ganguly, promising a visually striking sequence that highlights the character’s powerful transformation.
