"I hope the writers develop the sequel fast. I’ve had many people asking me when Mardaani 3 will come. But I have always maintained that a film is driven by a script. If the script is not exciting, there is no point ," Rani Mukerji told Mid-day.

The first film of Mardaani came in 2014 with Rani Mukerji and Tahir Raj Bhasin. After the commercial and critical success of Mardaani, the second installment, Mardaani 2 released in 2019. The fans are waiting for the announcement of Mardaani 3 now.
