Ranbir Kapoor is all set to revive his family’s iconic production house, RK Films. The banner, originally founded by his grandfather, the legendary Raj Kapoor, has been inactive for many years. However, Ranbir now plans to bring it back to life — though not the RK Studio in Chembur, which was sold some time ago.

Sources reveal that the actor is looking to take the legacy forward in a new direction, starting with his own directorial debut. While the idea excites fans, it’s still in a very early stage. Ranbir is reportedly working on developing concepts but nothing has been finalized yet.

There were recent reports suggesting that he might reunite with Deepika Padukone for a romantic film under the revived banner. However, those rumours are untrue. As of now, there is no script or plan for such a project.

The revival of RKFilms will take time, as Ranbir wants to build it thoughtfully rather than rush into production. He is said to be exploring the kind of stories he wants to tell as a filmmaker, focusing on strong content and creative freedom.

For now, fans can only wait and watch as Ranbir is busy with his upcoming projects and all of them need gis time and dedication, leaving a very less time for his dream of RKF. The actor will be seen in upcoming movies Love and War, Ramayana Part One, Ramayana Part Two, Animal Park and Dhoom 4.
