Ranbir KapoorRanbir Kapoor recently celebrated Christmas with the Kapoor family, and it seems that one of his actions didn't go well with the religious people, particularly one person. Ranbir, Alia and other Kapoor family members gathered together for the Christmas celebration on Sunday. Here's the full story.

During the Christmas Flambe tradition, one of the family members poured alcohol on the cake. As per the celebration rituals, the cake was lit up before being cut. Ranbir Kapoor shouted "Jai Mata Di," just when he was supposed to cut that cake. That's what hurt Hindi sentiments, as per the complainant. You can see the video below:

The complaint was filed by Sanjay Tiwari at Ghatkopar Police Station in Mumbai. He accused Ranbir of hurting religious sentiments, as fire and Jai Mata Di hold a special place in Hinduism. However, no FIR has been registered yet.

The complaint states, "In Hinduism, the fire god is invoked before invoking other deities, but Ranbir Kapoor and his family members deliberately used intoxicants while celebrating the festival of another religion and chanted Jai Mata Di."
