Ram Gopal Varma Booked For ‘Obscenity’ After Making ‘God, Sex And Truth’

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who is going all out to promote his next project God, Sex And Truth starring porn star Mia Malkova, has been booked for obscenity after a police complaint was filed against him.

A social activist in Hyderabad filed a complaint against Varma for the ‘indecent portrayal of women’ in his upcoming film ‘GST’. Following the complaint, a case under section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 was booked against him for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form. Varma was also booked under sections 506 and 509 of Indian Penal Code (outraging the modesty of a woman) for allegedly making personal comments against the activist and others opposing the movie.
