Rakhi Sawant Slams Tamannaah Bhatia:
In her trademark outspoken style, Rakhi Sawant has once again stirred controversy—this time targeting actress Tamannaah Bhatia. During an interview with Filmigyan, Rakhi was asked about being compared to Tamannaah, who has recently featured in several item/dance numbers.

Rakhi, who rose to fame in the early 2000s with chartbusters like Mohabbat Hai Mirchi and Dekhta Hai Tu Kya, didn’t hold back. She claimed that actresses who couldn’t make it big as heroines have now turned to item songs, a genre she considers her own domain.
“Yeh log hum log ko dekh-dekh kar item song karna seekh gaye. Yeh pehle heroine banna chahte the, jab inka heroine mein career nahi chala, toh inhone humare pet par laat maar ke, item song karne lag gaye. Sharam karo! OG toh hum hi hain. Aur hum ab heroine banenge,” Rakhi said in her fiery response.
Her statement quickly went viral, sparking a heated debate among fans. While some supported Rakhi’s claim that she pioneered the trend of glamorous dance numbers, others felt her comments were disrespectful toward Tamannaah, who has balanced mainstream acting and special dance appearances in major films like Jailer and Lust Stories 2. However, Tamannaah is yet to find a big success on her own, argues some.
Tamannaah has yet to respond to the remarks, but the episode has once again highlighted Rakhi Sawant’s unfiltered persona and her knack for staying in the headlines—proving that the “OG item girl” still knows how to grab attention. Ot doesn't seem like Bhatia will respond to Sawant's claim as that would degrade her own standard.
